6. SHIP'S LIST ANGLE. DRAUGHT IN OPPOSITE SIDE.
|
|
It is very important to know the list angle of the vessel
because later on it is possible to calculate also draights in opposite
side to the moored side of your vessel. In fact, with sea force 5 or
more, it is impossible to read draughts by using pilot ladder. Softwares
n. 6 and n. 6A use two different methods to calculate draughts at
sea side when your vessel is moored. The first method uses the observed
ullage in one of many ship's compartment having liquid cargo or water.
The second, uses the breadth of the vessel. It is well known that
inclinometer placed in the bridge,is not helpful in this case. This
program is very useful to calculate the ship's displacement with draught
survey. |

THE FOLLOWING DATA INPUTS ARE REQUESTED: |

Angolo di sbandamento
pescaggi lato opposto |
|
DATA INPUT |
|
|
TRIM of the vessel |
7.00 m. |
|

160.00 m. |
Tank's observed ullage |
16.50 m. |
Tank's observed sounding |
0.11 m. |
Tank's Height from measurement point |
16.40 m. |
Breadth of the vessel |

|
List angle in degrees |
8.78 gradi |

If there is impossible to have on board a compartment
with liquids inside, you can use the program n. 6A which calculates
draughts by using the breadth of the vessel. |
